Well at last something good to write about. What a great performance by Royton 1st team well overdue. Strong in every department against a team that did the double in the Lancashire and Cheshire League last season.  The game was dominated by Royton from start to finish. It was good to see some old faces back in the team plus some quality was what the team needed . Billy Dempsey looked like he had never been away.. Playing along side him was his old partner in Wayne Dean. Both players looked value for money in the centre of the park. The team just kept driving forward from start to finish .. Really good to watch after a very poor run..Hopefully  more players to be added in the final pre season week.. First game of season next Saturday 11/08/18 v Manchester Gregorians.
