Another pre – season friendly against a very good team ..Unfortunately for Royton they couldnt match there opponents.. Prestwich started the game in a very fast well paced manner and Royton just couldnt handle them…Royton conceded  inside 3 minutes from the start and just never recovered..All credit to Royton they did not give in..They carried on fighting to the end , and if there finishing could of been better could of had a couple of goals in each half. Some promising new players for Royton as well making the debuts in a very tough fixture.
