Royton Town AFC v Hindsford

Recap

Both teams flying high in the Manchester Football Premier League. Hindsford who are top and Royton sitting third and  everything to play for..Both teams started well but the game was a constant battle in the middle of the park very few chances in the first half by both teams. After the team talk the second half gets underway both teams come out fighting and it was Royton who started to create more chances and eventually got the break through with some neat foot work by Danny Gilmartin in the box but unfortunately for the Hindsford defender who had a rush of blood to the head he totally missed his challenge and took Dannys legs from under him .. Clear  cut penalty from were i was stood Hindsford players were not happy at all saying he had dived ,,The referee made the correct decision and up stepped Luke Heron to smash the ball home 1 – 0 Royton..  Hindsford then began to open up a little and in the space of 5 minutes Royton had two clear chances on goal . Game should of been over .. Hindsford settled and eventually created a spectacular goal from their number 9 and was a well deserved equaliser..Both teams were creating chances and Mikey Moss was causing the Hindsford defence all sorts of trouble with is skill and movement . Eventually their centre half totally miss timed a challenge on Mikey the referee had no choice to show him his second yellow card of the game.. Royton took advantage of this and the extra man began to tell. Royton kept there opposition on the back foot and created a fine team goal finished by the energetic Danny Gilmartin. Danny produced an excellent display for  the full 90 minutes he ran himself into the ground. But you cant deny the fact the rest of the Royton players were outstanding an im  going to give them all  9 out of 10  for an outstanding team performance. Hindsford proved a very tough test for Royton thats why they are top of the league. The test was passed with flying colours great team performance had by all..All credit  to Hindsford for making the game such a pleasure to watch..
