Royton Town AFC U12’s v Chadderton Park Eagles U12’s

Recap

A comfortable convincing win for the Royton youngsters.  The game started with Royton on the front foot and they deservedly went ahead with a smart finish from Jack Hulme after good work from Dennis Boamah.  Soon after Jack added his second with another clinical finish from just inside the box and a superb individual goal from Dennis just before half time saw Royton go in with a 3 goal cushion.

The first 15 mins of the second half saw some fabulous football from Royton with Vincent Arthurs scoring a couple of unstoppable long range efforts and finishing another from close range after some excellent interchanges of passes and a fine low cross from Jack.

Oliver Flynn had already added another early in the second half which was just reward for a fine performance against his old team and Jack and Vinny added further goals to complete a dominant display from the young lads. Chaddy got their consolation goal they deserved for their effort midway through the second half.

A fine team performance overall which dropped a little in the last 10 mins when everyone wanted to get on the goal sheet Royton go into next weeks repeat fixture in the cup full of confidence.
