Royton Town AFC Reserves v Heyside Reserves

Top two and it was the visiting team who triumphed.  They took control with immediate effect racing into a two goal lead inside the first 15 minutes . Royton just never recovered and to make matters worse lost Jack Barnes to a bad injury mid way through the game.. Heyside took advantage of every mistake Royton made and before half time they conceded again 0 – 3. They game was an open affair both teams playing the game as it should be played but Heyside had the advantage  they played the game for the full 90 minutes with complete aggression and to win the big games sometimes thats needed.  Royton changed things around at half time and for me totally dominated the half but they just couldnt find a goal. Heyside went on the defensive and they grafted out a well deserved result. So hard for the young lads from Royton to come away with nothing they actually deserved a lot better as the result suggested .But to win these games they need to learn to be a lot more aggressive  against the big teams .. Heyside had some quality out on the field . Just cannot understand why some of these players want to play in Division 4 when clearly they should and could be playing in a level achievable. But well done to Heyside and not unfair to say possibly going to win the league out right..
