Great performance by Royton Town AFC 2nds against a very good older mature team..Started the game on a bright note never let the home settle at all.  7 of Roytons team are all 16 years of age and all looked very comfortable coming into open age football.  Great to see Simon Sidlow back in the goals for Royton at the grand old age of 52.  Rolled back the years with a superb man of match performance.The young lads looked hungry ..Rarely threatened by Heyside Reserves. Only thing i would say they tired towards the end but will only get stronger as the season goes on..Well done men welcome to the big leagues.
